We are here to fully act out our human role and move towards being our True Self. Being our True Self is NOT just being our authentic human self, which some interpret as giving us permission to be a brat, whenever we like, acting out like a five-year-old having a temper tantrum or an outraged, callous or thoughtless teenager, at best.
While we are here to totally love and honour ourselves, honour what we feel in that moment and give ourselves permission to fully experience what we are experiencing at the time, because we are living and interacting with others, we are still bound to being decent human beings, sticking to a basically decent code of conduct and behaviour.
Our truest True Selves can only be our Divine Selves
In that movement towards being our True Selves, and our truest True Selves can only be our Divine Selves, the Divinity that we are, our Soul Selves or the Buddha or Inner Being within us, we need to take care of our human selves, to love and nurture ourselves fully and unconditionally.
We can feel like a totally pissed off five-year-old or teenager, or a self-doubting, self-judging and overly self-critical task master, and instead, dutifully and lovingly attend to our inner child whom we’ve probably neglected or bullied for far too long, mostly because we don’t know any better.
Love ourselves exactly as we are
And we can easily remedy that by hanging out with that first child of ours, and give him or her all she deserves, as we learn and practise, day by day, to love ourselves exactly as we are, halting the outward movement – the rushing toward and recoiling from love outside of ourselves, back into ourselves.
We need to be ever so patient with ourselves for no one really taught us to do this. Many of us have learnt to be self reliant, out of the necessity to fend for ourselves. So, we can generally take care of ourselves quite well in many ways, some better than others, of course.
Takes conscious effort and intent
But, loving and honouring ourselves daily and in every possible way really takes conscious effort and intent. And, it goes against the grain because we are all taught to direct that love outwards, that we would be less selfish, much kinder and much more lovable then.
You know what? I can’t do the work that I do and give to so many all over the world, oftentimes, to people I have never met in person, IF I did not take great care to look after myself, to take great care that my human body is lovingly looked after and listened to, and nourished and nurtured, and if I didn’t look after my own well being, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
See everything as being of the Spirit
I’ve learnt to drop the burden of responsibility as to what I must do and how I must be, just because I am doing the work I do, which while I am taking to a very wide variety of people including the corporate world and the mainstream, is still what most would term spiritually-based. I see everything as being of the Spirit because WE are, without the shadow of a doubt, essentially of the Spirit, even if many have no awareness that this is the case, or at most, know this at some level, but act as if it is not so at all.
Therefore, I personally would term what I do as FUNDAMENTAL, as the basis of Life itself. And, if we don’t begin life at the very basis, we really would be like all those blind men, each holding a part of the elephant, thinking that that particular part is the entire elephant and living life so very narrowly, with that misinformation.
One journey is just as filled with Grace as another
What I also do is incorporate the very essentials and fundamentals of ALL of Existence into what is a seemingly simple tool or technique, that I call The Golden Globe and just by doing it, it aligns the person instantly and connects the person with the most intrinsic part of him or her, AND Higher Intelligence. It leads people to Mastery quickly, if that is their path. More slowly, if there is resistance or quite simply, if the Divine Plan dictates a more paced-out journey. One journey is just as filled with Grace as another, no matter what it looks like on the outside.
With Great Love,
